If you ever listen to a police radio or scanner you often hear them use codes that start with 10 and are preceded by another number, Such as 10-4 meaning okay or affirmative. Listed are the other Ten Codes that were created by the Association of Public Safety Communication Officials or APCO. Although some local police departments may use variations of this list, most police forces follow the list below. |
